Served in shaker. Poured a clean, clear dark amber color with 1/4 inch of white head that that had low retention but decent lacing.
The aroma started with deep, sweet malts, then showed a light touch of grain, and some soft hops.
The taste was mostly the same, with the addition of some caramel, and slight bit of hop bitterness.
The body was medium, smooth, and had a medium-sweet finish.
Drinkability was good, an easy quaffer.
Overall, a solid take on the style. Worth trying if you see it.
