On tap at The Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a hazy light yellow, with a small head, and a good amount of lacing.
This one smells like guava, peach, tons of white grape (must be Nelson or something in here) with a bit of dank.
Both Barrier and Thin Man are super adept at hoppy delights, so this is very tasty. It's super tropical, and tastes very NZ-hop forward, with lots of Nelson-like white wine/grape flavors, guava, maybe some pineapple, a tiny bit of bitterness, and a sort of dank funkiness on the finish. This is pretty tasty.
This is light bodied, maybe some slight wateriness on the finish, with a lower, soft level of carbonation. This is the part where it kind of falls short compared to the best NE-style IPAs.
This is really great, and shows super promise for this new brewery. Get excited for them.
