On tap at Thin Man Brewery in Buffalo, NY.
This one pours a mostly clear dark orange, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells frustratingly musty and soapy, with some astringent orange peel and bready malt.
I usually love Amarillo hops, and I almost always love Thin Man beers. Therefore, this beer puzzles me. It's strangely thick, and a little syrupy tasting, with an astringent soapiness, and a slight dank mustiness. There's a bit of the typical orange flavor you get from Amarillo, but it's not a super bright flavor.
This is medium bodied, and a bit hard to drink, due to the factors expanded on above.
