Poured a black body with minimal head and no lace at all. An aroma of mild roasted chocolate dominates the smell which has a little bit extra. Smooth, boozy, mild roasted chocolate (almost like a hot cocoa) sweetness in a fuller, sticky body with some heat on the finish and finishes dry as well.

16 oz can.
Pours black with two finger tan frothy head which remains for a minute or so.
Nose is toasted chocolate malts, sweet dark fruits, salted nuts ( cashew or peanut) , black licorice and earthy.
Mouth is thick, rich and creamy. Minor carbonation. Dark fruit, rich and creamy dark chocolate, bitterness and whiskey. Finish is dry, dark chocolate with a whiskey background. Very nice mouth.
Nice job here. First I've had from Thinman and I shall seek more.

Pours a thick pitch black. 2 1/2 finger brown head. The head retention is amazing for such a high ABV beer. Some lacing on the glass.
The nose is a bight lighter than I was expecting. I do get a sweet aroma from the malts. Some chocolate. A hint of smoke from the malts.
Taste - A lot stronger than the nose suggested. Smoke flavor hits me first. Chocolate is next up, with a sweetness to it. Some vanilla.
The body is thick and full. Not much of a boozy flavor to it, but you know it;s higher ABV.
Solid Imperial Stout, and I'm glad to have a chance to try it.

On tap at Thin Man Brewery in Buffalo, NY.
This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and a bit of lacing.
This smells like ashy roasted malt, smoke, high quality dark chocolate, slight dusty bitterness, and espresso.
This is definitely burly, and feels like it would be a decent blank canvas for pastrification, if the brewery so desired such a thing. It's not boozy tasting, but you can still definitely the higher ABV here. It's bitter, smoky, and roasty, with light sweetness, and a lot of bittersweet chocolate.
This is medium bodied and pretty creamy and rich, with a decent level of drinkability. The bitterness doesn't linger long on the palate.
This is a really solid no-frills stout. It's big and beefy, and it tastes pretty good.
