Can from the Packie
Dark brown with a thin tightly bubbled tan head that persists. Big nutter peanut buttery nose with flavors of fruit and roast to counter. Light to medium warming alcohol. Tasty sipper.

Served in a teku glass from the can.
Appearance: Semi thick body with a super thick dark tan head rising almost two fingers length off the body.
Smell: Peanut and espresso aroma which hits the nose like an arrow. Fast and hard....not much lingering!
Taste: I don't see any lactose sugar in the description of the beer but the beer comes off creamy.
Mouth: Very sticky brew. Comes off dry but the peanut butter feels like that dry roasted peanuts in the bag with the shell.
Overall: Similar yey different from other peanut butter stouts.

Decent head production and retention.
Tons of peanut butter on the nose, along with roasty notes of coffee, bitter Baker's chocolate, toast, and caramel.
Fairly bitter on the palate; the peanut butter is a nice complement to a thick roasty imperial stout base, but it could really use some thick, milk chocolate-like sweetness to offset the bitterness.
Thick, chewy, full bodied, with a touch of alcohol heat.

16oz can into a pint glass. Canned 1/13/21, so 3 months old.
Pours inky black. High abv means the head disappears pretty quickly, though nice initially. A little lacing
Aroma of chocolate peanut butter candy.
On tasting, sweet, warm, not as much peanut butter as I thought, a little chocolate. Faint roast. Definitely a sipper
Mouth thinner than I would like, finish warm & sweet.
Overall, glad to have tried it, something to enjoy once in a while.

From the bottom of the can: "JAN13-2021 $20 PEANUT" (as a small note the beer did not cost $20, that is just printed on the bottom)
Appearance: It is a black beer with a medium-sized khaki head that slowly builds in the glass. The head mostly has a smooth surface with a few small pockmarks and dimples. It has good retention. There is a little lacing.
Aroma: It smells like peanuts. There's not anything else going on in the nose.
Taste: Up front there is some peanut flavor. Towards the middle there is also some peanut flavor. A bit of an alcoholic liqueur flavor comes through but no specific flavor comes to mind; it is bitter and a bit roasted but it doesn't taste like coffee, chocolate, etc. There's an odd medicinal flavor in the aftertaste. The beer tastes alright up front but as it tapers off on the tongue it drops sharply and loses quality along with the oddly bitter medicinal taste.
Mouthfeel: The beer is full bodied and smooth. There is an odd bitterness to the back of the mouth and the unpleasant flavors hamper drinkability.
Overall: Nothing is really printed on the can in regards to ingredients, other than the name "PEANUT BUTTER JENKINS." The beer does smell and taste like peanut butter but it also has some odd bitter and medicinal characters which reduce the overall enjoyment. There's not much else going on in the beer other than the peanut butter aroma or flavor either. I doubt I would drink it again and it's not a beer I'd recommend.

This one seemed promising but let me down.
Pours a dark brown with a smidge of translucence. Nice aromas of nuts, chocolate, and spice.
Has a rich, velvety feel, but the taste is cloyingly sweet. Like the Hershey’s chocolate syrups they sell in bottles. Other than a hint of spice, I couldn’t make out any other tastes (definitely not peanut butter). You can recognize the high abv, but that too is quickly dominated by the syrupy aftertaste.

A: The beer is very dark brown in color (essentially jet black). It poured with a quarter finger high tan head that consistently left a thin head covering the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of peanut butter are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has dominant flavors of peanut butter along with underlying hints of chocolate.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer almost tastes like it is a liquid version of a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. If you really like peanut butter, this is probably a stout that you would like to try.

I wanted to love it and the high ABV and the smell were promising! The first taste is peanut butter but then something mysterious creeps in. It is hard to place. Another reviewer called it metallic tasting and though I'm not sure, it came to me as an odd flavor note. It almost tasted like a spice that I could not identify. I bought one can of it at our local beer store and this one ended up down the sink. Sorry Thin Man- I generally like your brews!

16oz can pours black with a thin creamy tan head and fair amounts of lacing.
Nose is strong peanut butter and cookie or nutter butter cookies to be exact with vanilla and some chocolate in the background.
Mouth is creamy and rich. More nutter butter but not as pronounced as the nose, bitter sweet chocolate and vanilla. Finish is lingering bittersweetness and whiskey.
An enjoyable stout!!
