Clear with a light chill haze, this Pilsner is pale, golden straw (SRM 2-3). Occasional lazy bubbles of carbonation provide half-hearted support for a one-inch, frothy white head that holds for a minute before settling at one-half inch, and leaving a curtain of fine lace on a Simpli Pilsner Glass.
This one has a crisp aroma of clean grains against a background of light floral notes. It is simple and elegant, the way a delicate Pilsner ought to be.
The flavor follows the nose with a crisp light snap of bitterness. Lots of grains are accompanied with mild sweetness in balance. It is lightly dry, with a clean, mild finish of moderate length.
The nylon texture compliments a medium body and spritzy carbonation. There isn't even the slightest hint of alcohol.
This is a relaxed beer, perfectly comfortable in its glass. If I had friends, I'd invite them over to join me for a pint and some casual conversation. Heck, let's have some hot dogs with this out on the deck, and maybe watch a rerun of a Yankees' game or even the live and thrilling corn hole championships. But seriously, this beer is simplicity done well.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and some specks of bubbles on the surface. The head eventually completely faded away.
S: Light to moderate aromas of lemon/lime citrus are present in the nose along with notes of bready hops.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of lemony hops along with notes of limes and hints of bready malts. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and rather clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink and has some refreshing properties. The Motueka hops almost make it seem like someone added a splash of citrus to this pilsner.
