Super hazy straw-colored brew. Big citrus nose that bursts from the can. The taste is kind of one-note--sharp and grapefruity, not much depth or complexity. But still, pretty enjoyable with a refreshing bite. Definitely the best Buffalo brew I've had to date.

On tap at Thin Man Brewery in Buffalo, NY.
This one pours a fairly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like passionfruit, clean citrus, marijuana, tangerine, and grapefruit.
This is a definite step up from the regular Trial by Wombat. It's got a nice dankness to it, with a sweet and soft citrusy Citra hop character - tangerine, pink grapefruit, orange, passionfruit, etc, etc.
This is light bodied, clean, and very drinkable. It feels like the style should feel like.
This is definitely one of the better IPAs I've had from this brewery. It's a nice update to a pretty good IPA in and of itself.

A very pale brew has departed a pint can and ended up in a clear Imperial pint glass. This stuff is a true blond. There's almost no head, nor lacing of the glass. There is a good dry piney and slightly citrusy aroma. It's very tasty going down, much like the smell predicted. Nothing bold and no great transition of tastes, but a constant pleasantly hopped experience. There's more citrus character in the taste, but it's not too sweet, nor sharp. Carried by a moderate malt backbone, this is a little bit of a light weight, but very refreshing and tasty.

a: super hazy pale orange color with a hint of burnt yellow. 1/2 finger rocky, frothy off-white head
s: tons of citrus. orange zest, orange juice, and sweet lemons. dry crackers, and a hint of sweet grapefruit. a hint of orange soda at the backend.
t: sweet lemons and caramelized oranges. sweet apricots and tangerines. then i'm hit with a very noticeable diacetyl note which provides a very distracting buttery note in here. some sesame crackers as a backbone
m: fluffy, medium mouthfeel with low-medium carbonation
o: a bit too sweet for my taste. it has an almost sugary citrus sweetness. the buttery note is really killing the flavor for me too.
