Thick hazy golden in body with white frothy head. Aroma of papaya, citrus, vanilla, pear, grass. Tastes of citrus, papaya, pear, vanilla, grass, booze, pine and dry bitterness. Thick in body with medium carbonation.

Crack open the first pint can of a four pack and watch as the bubbly cascades into a clear glass Imperial pint mug. This is a very blond affair. Pretty head and lacing are quite evident. Starchy hop aroma has also been unleashed. Great hop delivery to the taste. It may have some characteristics of a New England IPA, but it's taste is almost all Imperial/Double Dry Hopped. It drinks refreshingly smooth despite having a full body, plenty of hoppiness and an 8% ABV. Everything you can ask of an IIPA.

Canned on 07-29-2020. Fresh beer is usually as good as a beer gets.
Crazy Origami can - cut and fold it to see what it makes. Probably not gonna happen but.....K......
Bright, cloudy yellow color sporting an impressively rocky, foamy white head with good legs and a spatter of lace left behind.
Aromas of Juicy Fruit and Bazooka bubble gum up front leading to boiling wort and cracked grain. Very "beery" with strong malt presence and contrasting fruity hop notes with each whiff.
Flavor is a bit of a let down but still different and interesting. Very soft in it's bitterness while flavor hops mask the alcohol and gives the palate something to work on as it searches for the IPA bite.
That bite finally shows up on the finish in a lingering, grass and pepper tingle that warms the throat and reminds you of the 8% hiding all the time.
Body is solid medium, with outstanding mouthfeel - full of malt character as the driver here though it never dominates or undermines the unique hop flavors of sugar coated pineapple and dandelion greens (Cashmire according to the can).
I like it very much. Not crazy about the weak IPA-ness of the hop rate but for flavor and chugabilty, this rates high in the 2XIPA ranks for me.
