Brewed with coffee and lactose lending notes of dark roast and vanilla. Brewed in collaboration with Kitty Hoynes Irish Pub in Syracuse, NY. Inspired by a traditional Irish Coffee.

L: deep solid inky dark black with a moderate khaki head that laces nicely as it slowly dissolves into a ring and island
S: coffee, roasted malt, something like condensed milk
T: roasted malts, coffee with sugar and extra cream, a bit of dark chocolate
F: thinner than expected, minimal carbonation, dry and a little sandy over the tongue with a pleasant coffee like bitter aftertaste
O: Not too bad. Local Irish makes for a pretty good breakfast stout. Flavors are balanced with a restrained sweetness. The drawbacks are the thin body and the lack of "creaminess" in a stout that is "inspired" by Irish Coffee.
