Canned 12/2/21 . Let warm at room temperature (55F) for about 20 minutes, before opening.

Hazy yellow, with two fingers of creamy white head, that leaves a 3/8" ring of lacing above a 1/4" surface ring and a 2-bubble-thick surface sheet. Looks like pineapple juice with a head, but....a slight gray tint. Not a fan of the dishwater look , so have to nick it (-.25) a little, but not bad, and looks good overall. Especially nice head for this genre.

Smell is pineapple, grapefruit , slight mango and biscuity malt.

Taste is pineapple/papaya/Mandarin orange (& passion fruit? - something else IS there) smoothie. There is a creamy sweetness that suggests lactose (Is it there?) . Just looked. No mention of lactose by the brewery, but however they do it , the overall flavor gives the impression of fruit+vanilla+cream. Light bitterness comes in near finish.

Feel is initially smooth and creamy. Moderate fine carbonation comes in on the latter half, finishing with a mild burn on the front of the palate. I don't mind it, and it is a good counter to the initial sweetness, but the burn is just a tad moire astringent than ideal. Guessing that is an artifact of its young age, and will mellow with time. For now, have to rate it as-is.

Overall, very good, and enjoyable, even with the slightly rough feel. Beers tied-in with the local sports team are often dumbed-down disappointments, but this one is not . Guessing this will be better in 3-4 weeks so will TRY ;) to hang onto one, & re-rate , if appropriate.
