This one pours a very dark black color, with a small white head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like roasted malt, toasted and charred oak, bourbon, maple, hazelnut, creamy vanilla, and dark chocolate.
This is tremendous barrel blend here – there’s tons of oak, some leather, lots of char, and caramel, with just a hint of maple from the Maple BA Awesome Jenkins that’s a small part of the blend. The hazelnut and vanilla are done well here – it’s not an overwhelming pastrysplosion at all, but they are definitely there. The barrel is definitely stronger than the adjunct work.
This is medium bodied, very creamy, with just a little bit of boozy warmth. It’s quite drinkable.
Thin Man has easily one of the best barrel programs in Western NY – Awesome Jenkins is just a stout that really takes well to barreling.

This is a bourbon barrel and rye aged beer and it’s absolutely incredible nice chocolate and bourbon taste through out with subtle note of hazelnut finishing with vanilla. Super great and would definitely buy again!
