Back in April of 2021, we released Lagerkoller in collaboration with the fine folks at von Trapp. Some of the liquid was then racked into 4 Roses barrels and put to rest for 20 months. The result is a beautifully complex base complimented by an outstanding barrel character.

On tap at Thin Man Chandler Street in Buffalo, NY.
This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like roasted malt, heavy char, vanilla, dark chocolate, smoke, and booze.
This is a hefty and beastly barrel aged beer, with some sharp booziness, lots of bourbon, and a heavy charred character. It might not be for everybody, but I enjoy this, in small amounts. There’s lots of dark chocolate, some light smokiness, a touch of barrel vanilla, and lots of roastiness.
This is medium bodied, creamy-ish, with a lingering heat on the back end.
This is a little bit messy, but tasty all the same.
