Served on tap in a pint glass
Served on tap at Duff's in Buffalo NY in a pint glass
Appearance - Served a super hazy orange juice color with a small head of white foam. The head has good retention, fading over time and leaving lots of foamy lace.
Smell- The smell is big of a tropical and citrus aroma with tangerine, mango, pineapple and papaya. Some bread, dough, oat, and yeast are there as well with some vanilla and creme rounding it all out
Taste - The taste starts with a sweet tangerine, mango, and pineapple. At the same time there is a bready and doughy base with lots of oat and creme. As the taste moves on some herbal and grapefruit hop, which was light upfront, gets more intense, and with a touch hay, and increase in fruit, a very juicy flavor is produced overall.
Mouthfeel - The body is thick and chewy with a lower carbonation. Good for the rich and juicy tastes.
Overall - A good thick and juicy brew. Well worth a try.
