Poured from a 14.88 ounce can dated 1/21/21 (Batch: 277) into a snifter.

Look- Black, dark brown frothy head, opaque, below average head retention and lacing.

Smell- Coffee, coconut, vanilla, strong strength of scent.

Taste- Coffee, cocoa, vanilla, coconut, sweet.

Feel- Between medium and full body, mild bitterness, below average carbonation, mildly creamy, moderate syrup like feel, moderately mouth coating.

Overall- This beer had a nice mix of bitter and sweet. I expected the body to be thicker than it was based on the name.

One year and three months old. Can to snifter.

Look: Pours a dark brown with a beautiful brownish, long lasting-foam. Plenty of floaters.

Smell: Mainly coconut. Also a bit of sweet milk chocolate.

Taste: Coconut. Milk chocolate. Coffee. Sweet and roasty with a bitter finish.

Feel: Creamy body with a low carbonation. Slightly sticky.

Overall: A combination you can't go wrong with. Quite nicely balanced. Smell and taste are however a bit too artificial. Particularly the coconut notes.

Smeerolie Coconut Milkshake
Brouwerij De Moersleutel
Date: Unknown
Traveling to the Netherlands for the final beer of the night. I love the artwork on this can. I poured into a Willi Belcher glass; the temperature was 46 degrees. A creamy and foamy three-fingered dark brown head with excellent retention. The slow dissipation left loads of lacing on the glass. The color charts around SRM 32 dark brown, like used motor oil. The appearance is above average for this style.
Chocolate, coffee, and coconut are the first aromas. Next, I detect milk, caramel, toffee, a hint of floral, a touch of tobacco, vibrant earthiness. Last, I noticed bread, dark roasted malts, char, and a whiff of smoke. The beer made my mouth water.
The chocolate coffee and milk flavoring are on display here. Coconut, toffee, and caramel with some char are what I taste next. Lastly, I detected vanilla, dark roasty notes, cereal, bready, a touch of floral, and molasses. This beer means business.
The mouthfeel is chewy, coating, and creamy. A heavy body has low carbonation and has a long-lasting finish.
I would have the coconut have more of a say in the flavor profile. This is one impressive thick and rich beer. I could not tell this was high the ABV was. I am enjoying this monster on a cold fall evening.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque black in the glass with a half finger dark khaki head with great retention and nice lacing. Aroma of mild dark toasted malt, lactose, fudge and coconut.Flavor follows with dark toasted malt with a hint of char, dark chocolate, vanilla, coconut and a little lactose; chocolatey coconut finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess, silky mouth feel. An excellent dessert milk stout. Full flavored with great chocolate and vanilla character and lots of coconut, but well supported by the rich malt. Close to a chocolate shake, even the ABV is well covered. Nicely done.

Matte black body with two fingers of brown foam. Coconut and vanilla injected into a roasted and chocolate malt body both smell and taste. The issue is nothing is wholehearted enough to carry except the sugar, so it is just kind of basic. Feel is smooth, sugary on the edges, mildly roasted, and medium bodied.

440ml can from Tavour. Dark, muddy brown pour, bubbly beige head. Aroma is coconut primarily, and cocoa, but the coconut seems a bit off, probably due to it being artificial flavoring. Same with taste, the coconut is a bit off, some metallic, chemical notes. Not overly sweet, slick feel, but overall was not impressed.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a half finger high dark tan head that died down but never completely faded away.
S: Moderate aromas of chocolate and lactose are present in the nose along with notes of coconut and hints of vanilla.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the flavors of coconut are a little stronger.
M: It feels full-bodied, thick and smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I really enjoyed the thick and smooth mouthfeel of this stout - it definitely tasted like a chocolate milkshake with added flavors of coconut.

Got this one from the Duvel guy in Utrecht

From a 44cl can into a snifter
Canned 19 October 2020
Imperial stout with coconut, cacao nibs and vanilla

APPEARANCE: Pours out clear dark brown, almost black, and yields a big three finger, medium-thicker looking, creamy tan head with great retention. Black body with no carbonation evident. Head slowly recedes to a thick cap and coats the glass with frothy lace. A ring remains til the end leaving lots of nice lacing on the glass as it empties. A little light colored off the pour, but excellent, otherwise.

SMELL: Piles of coconut on the nose. Really coconut heavy, with vanilla, milk chocolate and some cookie dough in there as well. This is like straight coconut shavings.

TASTE: Lots of coconut up front, with vanilla, milk chocolate and some roasted notes as well, then a touch of alcohol at the swallow. Bold, candy-like finish with coconut, vanilla cream, milk chocolate, cookie dough, roasted flavors and a hint of booze as well. Lots of bitter-sweet flavors linger long after the swallow. Flavorful.

PALATE: Medium-fuller body and slightly lower levels of carbonation. Silky smooth on the palate, creamy and plenty of weight, goes down smooth with a bit of a bite and finishes relatively sticky. A bit of chili heat lingers.

OVERALL: I don't know about Morpheus, but this is good stuff all around. A coconut, desert-lovers dream. Really chalk full of the good stuff, with piles of coconut, vanilla and a lovely milk chocolate quality to boot. These Smeerolie beers are usually fantastic and this one lives up to it. Really enjoyed this and would highly recommend picking it up if you love coconut stouts. Cheers!
