Copenhagen 7/7 2019. 44 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. A very Willy Wonka inspired label with a top hat, yellow and purple and the word chocolate also pops in. So they press the wordplay on Tonka beans to the max.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Settles as very thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense, very sweet and perfumed. I suspect it is the Tonka beans peeking in. Brown sugar, molasses, Vanilla, Milk chocolate.
Light carbonation. Thick, viscous, heavy, creamy, sticky texture.
Flavor is heavy sweet with only the most rudimentary bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingering for a long time.
I am not crazy about the Tonka fumes but what a hard hitting, fat, creamy Monster.

Can, shared at home. Black colour. Light brown head. Aroma's: sweetish, tonka, chocolate. Retronasal it's heavy on the tonka, fruity, sweetish, cinnamon. Flavour above moderate sweet, fruity. Medium bodied. Nice, but a touch less tonka would have been better.
