Got this from the Duvel guy in Utrecht
From a 440ml can into a pint glass
Batch no.178
NEIPA Citra & Mosaic
APPERANCE: Pours a small, thin, foamy white head with okay retention. Hazy gamboge orange with slightly higher levels of carbonation. Head recedes to a fain, foamy cap. No real cap remains and it looks somewhat flat by the end.
SMELL: Tropical fruits, like mango, pineapple and passion fruit, with melon and light citrus aromas as well. Touches of caramel and bready malts as well. Medium strength.
TASTE: Light bready malts, but mostly tropical flavors of mango, pineapple and passion fruit up front. A medium finish of tropical fruits, mango and pineapple mostly, hints of citrus flavors, lemon, as well as some caramel sweetness and melon flavor lingers on the palate.
PALATE: Medium body and a touch higher carbonation. A bit foamy on the palate, not overly creamy per se, goes down fine and finishes slightly mouth-coating for the style. No real bitterness lingers.
OVERALL: Good stuff. Don’t think it was quite as good as their n (ETA) but it’s still solid. Good aroma and flavor on this one for sure. More good brews from De Moersleutel. These guys are quickly becoming my favorite Dutch brewery. Cheers!

Pours a hazy golden coloration with a medium, foamy head. Smells of biscuity malt and tropical/citrus hops: orange, pineapple, with a light, grassy dankness as well. Taste is a good balance of light biscuity malt and sweet'ish tropical and zesty citrus fruit notes of papaya pineapple, orange and lime peel, with a light grassy, herbal dankness as well. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some tropical/citrus notes lingering in the aftertaste, as well as a slightly unplesant, soapy hop burn. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
A decent NEIPA, but nothing special. Nice and hoppy, but not particularly juicy or with a soft mouthfeel and also has quite an unpleasant hop burn aftertaste, which I say as someone that usually likes a bit of hop burn.
