Pours a hazy golden amber, peach coloration with a small, foamy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical/citrus hops, with overripe tropical notes of mango and passion fruit dominating, as well as some orange. Taste is s good balance of sweet'ish biscuity malt, juicy tropical hops and somewhat zesty citrus hops, with notes of mango, passion fruit, papaya, orange and tangerine, with just a hint of herbal dankness coming through as well. Finishes with a light bitterness and hop bite, as well as some overripe tropical/citrus notes lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
A good, quite juicyand tropical NEIPA that has those "overripe", sort of rubbery, fruit notes to it that I'm really not a big fan of personally though. De Moersleutel is just one of those breweries that make amazing stouts on a conistent basis, but their IPA-game is just not quite there. It's not like this is a bad beer, far from it actually, it's just nowhere near as good as their excellent stouts.
