Copenhagen 28/12 2020. 44 cl can from Kvickly, Østergade, Middelfart. Guy eating a hot dog from one of Netherlands more obscure facilities: A fast food restaurant where the food is served in automats. Makes the name of the beer make sense in its own bizarre way.
Pours unclear maroon with a red hue. Small off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong boozy, sweet odor mingling with a earthy, fermented fumes. Dark, fermented fruits. Plums and figs. Candy-like. Toffee, caramel and brown sugar. Liqueur-like odor of almonds and booze.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily and viscous texture. Soft and fat. A little sticky.
Flavor is intense with a strong, sugary sweetness followed by a very light sour bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingering. Finish is sweet, boozy and liqueur-like.
A FEBO is a strange topic for a barley wine - and I sure wouldn't drink this when eating a hot dog.

Got this one from the Duvel guy in Utrecht
From a 44cl can into a snifter
Collaboration with Central Waters Brewing
White Chocolate Cream Puff Barley Wine
Contains vanilla, cacao nibs and lactose
APPEARANCE: Pours a small, thin wisp that vanishes quickly to a ring only. Clear burnt umber in color with no carbonation evident. A slight wisp and ring are quickly all that’s left, then it goes flat soon after.
SMELL: Some vanilla cream, lactose aromas for sure, as well as toffee and butterscotch from the base barley wine. Cotton candy and a touch of melon character as well. Decent strength.
TASTE: Lots of lactose and vanilla cream, plenty of toffee, red fruity sweetness, such as berries and cherry flavors, as well as some alcohol at the swallow. Flavorful and sweet. Bold finish of lactose sugars, vanilla beans, toffee and butterscotch sweetness, berries and some alcohol linger on the palate. White chocolate cream puff indeed.
PALATE: Fuller body and slightly lower levels of carbonation. Silky slick and creamy on the palate, goes down smooth with a bit if a burn and finishes rather sticky on the palate. Some decent heat lingers.
OVERALL: This is solid. It’s certainly sweet and syrupy, but the character is exactly as advertised. Lots of vanilla and white chocolate flavors with a strong, sweet, boozy barley wine as a base. Enjoyable and worth checking out if you’re a fan of the style. Another good De Moersleutel brew. Cheers.
