Got this from the De Moersleutel webshop. Cheers!
From a 44cl can into a pint glass
DIPA with Citra, Centennial & Mosaic
APPEARANCE: Pours a small, medium looking, foamy white head with good retention. Perfectly clear safety orange in color with medium carbonation evident. Head recedes to a faint wisp and clings to the glass. Touches of wisp remains leaving good lacing down the glass as it empties.
SMELL: Caramel malts, honeydew melon aromas, mango, grassy with lots of pineapple and passion fruit all over this one. Notes of lemon as well. Decent strength.
TASTE: More flavorful than the nose had led on. Caramel flavors with mango, honeydew melon, orange, tangerine and pineapple up front. Definitely grassy as well. Tropical fruits at the swallow, moving into a bolder finish of caramel, lots of pineapple, orange, mango, melon and some lemon citrus flavors as well. Flavorful.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. Creamy enough on the palate, goes down smooth and finishes slightly mouth-coating for the style. Some grassy bitterness lingers.
OVERALL: Really good. This one’s got lots of pineapple and passion fruit all over, which is a fun combination. Good feel as well. Perhaps not the juicy hop bomb that was their n(ETA) a while back, but it’s still solid all around. Cheers!

Pours a clear, golden amber coloration with a small, wispy head. Smells of biscuity, caramel malt and vague citrus/tropical notes, with the citrus dominating and a somewhat unpleasant, boozy note that intensifies upon swirling. Taste is a poor balance of quite sweet biscuity, caramel malt and washed out citrus/tropical hops, with vague notes of grapefruit and pineapple, followed by quite an unpleasant boozy, phenolic aftertaste. Finishes syrupy sweet, with a light bitterness and some light citrus and heavy booze notes lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This is honestly the last time I buy an IPA from De Moersleutel. Their Stouts are exceptional, but their IPAs are all terrible, with this being no exception with its overly sweet and boozy character that completely overpowers the faint and watery hop notes that really struggle to make an impression here. Second drainpour from De Moersleutel in a row today, but I still got high hopes for the RIS I got lined up by them next.
