Got this from the webshop. Cheers!
From a 44cl can into a snifter
Canned in October 2020
Batch 254
Stout with Madagascar vanilla
APPEARANCE: Clear black pour yields a three finger, medium looking, slightly foamy light tan head with great retention. Black body with no carbonation evident. Head slowly recedes to a full cap and leaves some foamy lacing on the sides for glass. Splotchy wisp remains leaving decent lacing on the glass as it empties.
SMELL: Lots of vanilla on this one. Milk chocolate, some cream aromas, a touch of roasted malts, but this is very vanilla forward.
TASTE: Vanilla, milk chocolate, some roasted flavors and cream notes at the swallow. A bold and lingering finish is very roasted and bitter, with bitter coffee, burnt flavors, some bitter dark chocolate and vanilla cream and some alcohol lingering on the palate.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. Creamy enough on the palate, a touch foamy, goes down fine and finishes a touch mouth-coating. A bit of alcohol lingers, as well as plenty of burnt bitterness.
OVERALL: This is okay, but it’s got quite a bit of burnt, almost astringent bitterness here. The vanilla additions are nice in the nose and add some character to the flavor, but the overly burnt and bitter finish kind of gets in the way of the pleasantries. Okay, but not one of their best offerings.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 9%. Black colour, moderate tan head. Aroma of roast malts, lactose and vanilla. Sweet flavour (too sweet), plenty of lactose (though not listed as an ingredient) and malt sugar, roast malts and vanilla. Warming throatfeel. Good in small portions, so share the can.
