New England DIPA dry hopped with centennial, simcoe and chinook.
APPEARANCE: Pours a two finger, medium looking, creamy, slightly foamy white head with very good retention. Hazy gamboge orange with touches of carbonation evident. Head slowly recedes to a
SMELL: Honeydew melon, caramel aromas, tropical fruits like mango and pineapple, as well a touch of spicy alcohol as well. Bold and aromatic.
TASTE: Bold flavors of honeydew melon, mango, pineapple, passion fruit and caramel sweetness up front. Big finish of tropical flavors, caramel and melon sweetness, honey, some hop bitterness and a touch of spicy alcohol as well. Bold and flavorful.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. Creamy enough on the palate, goes down smooth and finishes a touch mouth-coating. A bit of spicy alcohol lingers.
OVERALL: This is excellent. Really flavorful with a nice balance between tropical flavors, sweet malt and some spicy alcohol. Enjoyable and drinks away far too easily. Would definitely drink this by the gallon if it were available often. Highly recommended. Cheers!
