Got this from the webshop a while back. Cheers!

Best Before February 2025
Pale Barleywine with caramelized sugar, lactose, vanilla and tonka beans
APPEARANCE: Pours a two finger, looser looking, foamy, off-white head with decent retention. Transparent rust body with minimal carbonation evident. Head slowly recedes to a half wisp and ring, leaving lots of sticky lacing on the glass. Faint swirl remains leaving solid lacing on the glass as it empties.
SMELL: Plenty of caramel notes, lactose and vanilla aromas as well, tonka, with some decent butterscotch and toffee on the nose. Bold as well.
TASTE: Caramel sweetness, some tonka and vanilla notes as well, a touch of lactose, with some hop bitterness and spicy alcohol at the swallow. Not quite as flavorful as the nose had advertised. Bolder finish is spicy with some caramel and toffee sweetness, lactose, tonka beans, spicy alcohol and a dose of hop bitterness lingering on the palate. A bit empty at the start but it’s certainly got enough balls.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. Creamy enough on the palate, goes down fine and finishes somewhat drier on the palate. Some decent heat and bitterness lingers.
OVERALL: This is alright. The nose is quite impressive but it falls a little flat in the flavor. The profile certainly has enough going on, but it’s not quite as forthcoming as the nose had lead on. A solid brew, though I would most likely go for something else in their lineup next time around. Cheers!
