Got this from the webshop. Cheers!
From a 44cl can into a snifter
Canned 26 March 2021
Stout with lactose, coffee and vanilla pods
APPEARANCE: Clear black pour yields a 2+ finger, medium-thicker looking, creamy, tan head with great retention. Black body with medium levels of carbonation evident. Head slowly fades to a half wisp and leaves touches of lacing on the glass. Splotchy wisp remains until the end leaving decent lacing on the glass as it empties. Solid looking.
SMELL: Solid nose of espresso coffee beans, vanilla cream, milk chocolate, roasted notes and some cacao powder on the nose. Good stuff.
TASTE: Vanilla cream, some espresso coffee flavors, milk chocolate and some cacao up front, with some roasted flavors and bitterness at the swallow. Bold finish of roasted, bitter espresso beans, vanilla cream, milk chocolate, roasted malts and some alcohol lingering on the palate. Flavorful, roasted, with some nice bitter coffee flavors.
PALATE: Medium-fuller body and medium carbonation. Creamy and weighty for sure, smooth on the palate, goes down smooth and finishes somewhat slick and mouth-coating. Decent bitterness lingers. Great, full, weighty feel.
OVERALL: Another beauty. It’s like these guys have a couple stout recipes that work and just run foolproof variation after variation on them. Fine by me. Lots of good flavor and aroma on this one with a great feel to boot.
