Got this from the webshop. Cheers!
From a 44cl can into a snifter
Canned 23 March 2021
NEIPA 6%
Hops: Citra, Simcoe, Ekuanot & Cashmere
APPEARANCE: Pours a 1+ finger, looser, foamy white head with good retention. Hazy gamboge orange with no real carbonation evident. Head slowly recedes to a full, thin wisp and clings to the glass.
SMELL: Apricot, passion fruit, pineapple and some notes of mango on the nose. Plenty fruity with lots of tropical aromas. Lovely.
TASTE: Bold and flavorful up front, with plenty of tropical fruit flavors. Passion fruit, mango, pineapple and apricot flavors up front, with more tropical fruits and a light soapy bitterness at the swallow. Bold finish of tropical fruits, a light soapy quality and some notes of caramel sweetness. Flavorful.
PALATE: Medium, lighter body and medium carbonation. A touch foamy on the palate, goes down fine and finishes plenty dry. A touch of soapy bitterness lingers.
OVERALL: This is quite nice on the nose and initially in the flavor, though the light soapy quality brings it down a notch. Perhaps the Citra hop here, but who knows, really. Good beer and lovely drinking, though not quite the flavor profile I’d be after. Cheers!
