Got this from the webshop. Cheers!
From a 44cl can into a pint glass
Canned 25 August 2021
NEDIPA 8%
Collaboration with Yakima Chief Hops
APPEARANCE: Pours a two finger, medium looking, creamy white head with great retention. Hazy amber yellow in color with medium levels of carbonation evident. Head slowly recedes to a solid foamy cap. Small wisp remains to the end leaving touches of lacing on the glass until it empties.
SMELL: Caramel malts, hay and barnyard aromas, some green fruits like apples and pears, as well as a light piney note on the nose. Aromatic.
TASTE: Lots of hay and piney flavors up front, with notes of caramel sweetness and some light green fruits at the swallow. Some piney bitterness as well. Bold finish of floral and barnyard flavors, some caramel notes, some hints of pears, and a dose of piney bitterness linger on the palate. Some alcohol lingers as well.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. Creamy and a touch foamy on the palate, goes down fine and finishes a touch dry. Light bitterness and some alcohol linger.
OVERALL: Good stuff. Quality brew and well made. Lots of pine and green fruity flavors on this one, which is certainly unique. If I wasn’t mistaken, I’d say there’s some Belgian triple ale yeast in this one, but I’d be mistaken if I said that, so I won’t.
