Drank from the can after a swim in zurich, but I can see it's really dark, with dark tan head.
Smell is potent roasty malt, ash, tobacco, touch of fruit.
Taste is very much the same, not as bitter as expected.
Feel is smooth, rich and carbonated.
Overtal a really solid RIS

440 oil can, lightly chilled, into a snifter in Toulouse, France.
Good steady tan foam on deep brown brew.
Nose brings dark roast malt, dark cacao, vanilla.
Taste follows, with nice bright hop notes, balanced sweetness and a fine bitterness.
Mouth is full body, low carbonation.
Overall, a beauty of an RIS.

Copenhagen 31/8 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of an old motor car in badly need of motor oil on the can.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a big beigehead. Settles as thin, but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing. Aroma is intense with a sweet, malty and dark odor mingling with potent dark alcohol. Cocoa in abundance, dark chocolate, toffee and caramel. Whiff of earthy tobacco. Sweet rum.
Light carbonation. Fairly thick, oily, soft, a little sticky, creamy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable, boozy sweet undertone. Finish is dry and laden with alcohol.
A potent potion of Motor Oil.

Appearance: black opaque liquid decorated with a high brown foam. Made up of small bubbles, the foam appears to be persistent. Generally it leaves no decoration.
In the aroma, intense coffee roastiness intertwines with dark chocolate, caramel, liquorice and subtle notes of fine alcohol. The beer smells beautiful, delicate and yet intense.
I don't know what motor oil tastes like, but if it's like this beer it's certainly intensely sweet with a roasted bitterness as a counterpoint.
The alcohol is gently warming. Low saturation. Full, high body. Texture smooth, soft, oily. Aftertaste long, dryly roasted, with a sweetish finish.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of fluffy foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of chocolate, roasted malt, toffee and coffee. Sweet chocolate taste with molasses, toffee and caramel. Subtle vanilla and coffee notes.
