44 cl can brought home from the Octobiere Fest in Toulouse, FR, poured into a Teku glass, slightly chilled. Perfect brown foam floats on dense black brew.
Oh-my-gosh big aroma like walking into a chocolatier’s shop. Cocoa all over the nose, deep roasted malt too.
Taste is blissful decadence, with cacao nibs from Peru and India taking center stage. A fine supporting cast of warm spice and almond, with a fruity raspberry flavor emerging as well. Good alcohol nip.
Mouth is way full, rich, creamy. Low carbonation keeps the tastes in place.
Overall, no grief with this beauty.
