This strong red ale has a healthy malt base accompanied by an assertive hop character. We use a combincation of "C" hops to help punch through the robust caramel melts.

Pours a gleaming ruby red into the glass, slightly off white head on the top, 1/2". Good dry hopping, guessing Centennial and Chinook going on here.
Taste is a big hearty red ale draped in plenty of C hops. Might be some CTZ (Columbus) up in here too. Its reminiscient of Loakal Red in that it drops substantial caramel and malty feels, but there are plenty of hops that cut through that as well (although no wood feel on this one).
While I'm not a fan of red ales, this one is hoppy enough without excessive caramel 100ibu bitterness warping your taste buds. To me its clear it is an elite hoppy red ale. Tough part though is this is always going to be on the board up against some top notch hoppy goods that aren't red ales, so its likely destined to just be a neat beer in a taster set.

Growler pour into a tulip glass, age unknown but based on conversation with staff I'd say at least 60ish days or more. . Pours a mahogany red with a finger of white medium density head that left a bit of sporadic lacing. Nose is very nice, definitely lots of Chinook attributes. Taste is solid, balances the hop forward intent with substantial malt without being overly sweet. Finish had minimal bitterness and didn't linger. Mouthfeel was quite smooth, easy drinking, and just the slightest bit of dryness from the finish. I'll definitely revisit, hopefully when fresher, as I think this is likely a top-notch hoppy red but want to have it fresh to be sure (think Dirty Hippie).
