Tap @ brewery
Summer of 2023 Bone Frog is now a NE Pale Ale, which sounds like a legit style, no?
Super thirst-quenching @ 6% ABV, this version features Citra, Mosaic and Amarillo. Chock-a-block full of ripe passion fruit, mangoes, some guava, with lemon meringue and key lime balancing agents. It presents bracing earthy spiciness, an oaky malt backbone, and just enough dank and pine sap (which is hinted on the nose) to propel this brew into hell yeah territory.
This little beer rocks. Give it a go, then tell your friends you just knocked back a NEPA.

Man this brewery seems to change labels every year. Consumed these w/ the previous non camo'd label. Sticker is on the stop sign in front of the Catholic Church and on the cattle guard down by the big bend portion of the biggest river in all of Nevada across the highway from where OJ was doing time.
Pours a cloudy, hazy, milky yellow appearance that has a light gleam to it. 1/4" white head. Aroma hits the pineapple, pine and papaya three p's. Galaxy, Centennial and Citra pushing around the notes you would expect. I'd say the Galaxy is the strongest of the three here.
Taste is much the same, much like that Radiohead song, this one offers no alarms and no surprises, which is to say its yet another Moonraker legit banger. Has the requisite crushability that a pale ale should offer, but with loads of hops along the way, bypassing excessive bitterness, but maintaining a grain presence enough to keep it beer-esque at all times instead of being watery or too flaked out with wheat and oats. Dig the props to the military on this one, you don't see too much of that in the woke craft beer scene.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy pale beige head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Ripe tropical fruit, citrus, faint hint of melon, spicy pine, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Juicy, tropical fruit, mango, passion fruit, guava, peach, apricot, papaya, and a touch of melon, citrus, tangerine and lemon lime, a little spicy pine, biscuity slightly bready malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: Not getting any of the coconut I usually do from Cashmere hops, but that's totally fine by me. This is another winner from Moonraker.

On tap.
L: hazy bright yellow, 2 fingers of a frothy white cap. Heaps of residual lacing.
S: lemon, grass, pineapple and pine. Smells light and inviting.
T: awesome. Tons of tropical fruit and citrus with nice semi-hoppy and dry finish.
F: light in body and weight with moderate carbonation. Great feel for an APA.
O: highly enjoyable. I honestly have grown so fond of the style, and this didn’t let me down. I am glad to try and I would drink again. Cheers!
