Another beer from a flight at Moonraker. This one might be my least favorite of the Crush series. Important note of context: Its still a pretty good beer, its just even amongst awesome beers, there will always be a last place one. Pours a hazy yellow, like the other crush series beers, it has kind of a bright yellow kind of stature. 1/3" white head. Aroma was bitter. They usually don't go heavy on the bitterness, but a single hop Simcoe, you're kind of stuck with it. Wasn't problematic, just aroma isn't its strong hand. Good amount of lemon and tree bark bitterness in there.
The taste is an improvement over the nose, this one comes in more like a classic west coast ipa in that regard, plenty of bitterness, not heavy on the thick malt aspect that some Simcoe bombs succumb to. Pithy and dry. Mild hay and grass notes. Carbonation is right.

Can from Bailey's.
A hazy yellow with an off-white head that falls off rapidly, this looks solid. The nose is bright and fruity with green grape, white nectarine and some floral and herbal lemon notes. Citrus notes with Meyer lemon and oranges are present. The palate opens juicy with honeyed fruit, grapes, lemon, citrus and a touch of mango. Clean, with minimal sweetness, this has plenty of fruit. Drying on the finish with minimal bitterness, this beer is medium-light in body and moderately carbonated.
