Can Pour - murky and turbid yellow juice with white head leaving scattered frosty lacing. Nose is citrus and ripe tropical fruit with hints of pine. Taste follows more or less with a citric bite that lingers on the finish. A mosaic hop bomb for sure.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Ripe tropical and stone fruit, juicy citrus, a touch of spicy pine, slight floral, herbal, and grassy notes, faint bubble gum, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Bright mix of citrus, tropical and stone fruit, lemon lime, guava, pineapple, passion fruit, tangerine, grapefruit, blueberry, peach, apricot, and a touch of papaya, spicy pine, floral and grassy notes, hints of bubble gum, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderately lively carbonation with a little tingle up front and a slight creaminess on the back end. Crushable indeed for a DIPA.
O: This one just kept evolving. One sip would lead with tropical fruit, and the next with citrus, back and forth, then the blueberry pops out, and you get a hint of bubble gum... Long story short, they pulled basically every flavor there is out of those Mosaic. Another winner in the Crushable Series.

Fantastic. Love mosaic hops and this hits the mark. Not filling like most doubles. Very crushable...

Sweet citrus hoppy dank nose! Taste follows well with a dankness that is prominent on the swallow It has good depth and mouthfeel and is well balanced. Surpassed my expectations!

Im still amazed how many Moonraker beers I've been drinking consistently, yet haven't reviewed yet. All of the double crush series are amazing beers. They all hide the alcohol well.
Pours a hazy and slightly bright yellow with 1/3" white head. Mosaic hops pop appropriately, passion fruit, pineapple, weed dankness, its all here.
Taste is delicious. Relatively tempered bitterness, boatloads of tangerine, pineapple, guava, and weed keep draping the senses with every sip. Mouth feel is easy, the flaked portion of the body gives it a softness, but it isn't totally sawft like some trendy ipas can be. Of course, its entirely crushable with very little effort making it a dangerous 8.5% because you can't taste it and it drinks fairly fast.
At the end of the day, these are world class hoppy beers that are only held back by the small batch size and high cost (usually $4-5 per can).

Canned 4/2/19. I really liked the citra double crush and I'm curious to see how this one pans out. Mosaic isn't my hop of choice normally for NEIPAs, so let's see how she fares.
L: Pours that glorious hazy vibrant yellow. Totally opaque, zero clarity. About a finger of a loosley packed cap with moderate amounts of soapy lacing.
S: Mosaic shines on the nose- full of that semi-dank and berry aroma, which smells quite nice. Also getting a great deal of tropical fruits with some lemon. Smells delicious.
T: Pull my pants down and call me Sally. This is fantastic. That mosaic berry flavor is what I taste initially, but then it transcends to this pineapple/mango/bubble gum concoction mid-way through. Pink starburst, lemon, tangerine and sappy pine on the finish with lingering flavors of lemongrass, mixed berry and tropical fruits. This thing is juicy, and has just the right amount of hop bitterness to balance it out on the finish.
F: Medium in terms of body and weight, with the weight on the lower end of medium to light. Carbonation is moderate to high, adding a nice fizzle element. Nice hoppy bitterness noted as well with minimal booze presence.
O: It is hard to say, but this might be my favorite from the double crush series. Mosaic implementation is spot-on, providing that perfect balance between juice and hoppy bitterness. Drinks dangerously smooth for 8.5%abv. Needless to say, I would drink again, and I am bummed I didn't buy more. I am very glad to try. Cheers!

my first beer from these guys, i havent heard the hype myself but it seems to exist, on tap, and it took me a little while to get into it, not like, as i worked on the glass, but in the sense that i didnt really like the taste until the very end, and each sip i sort of had to wait til the back half of it to really enjoy it, odd flavor trajectory of this one, where its almost flavorless up front, and then all of a sudden sort of dry grainy and lemony, intense even for a second, which then recedes as fast as it comes up, but then is followed by and finished with this slowly ascending fresh mosaic complexion that really represents the hops well at its apex, its just that the apex is really late onset, juicy melon and pineapple and even spruce or gin come in late, balanced by a nice dry wheaty starchy base, but this isnt overly hazy in appearance. real pale and fresh. the void of flavor up front leaves a little cardboard or something for me, not offensive but its what i get in the lack of everything else. i love how it comes up all the way until the end though, and each sip ends better than it starts. in some ways the jury is still out on this, but if you take only the back half of each sip, its a killer fresh heap of the absolute essence of mosaic, and thats good enough for me. hope to see more of these moonraker beers around colorado...
