Surprised there are still double crush reviews to put out.
Man, the label for these is/used to be so janky, I could almost take points away appearance wise.
Pours a soapy yellow with cloudiness to it but not a full on orange juice like haze, but it is approaching that, maybe turkey gravy is a closer image. 1/3" white head. Aroma pops Galaxy, the usual pine and pineapple notes.
Taste, hey its Galaxy, one of the most predictable and distinguishable hops with its tropical pineapple push at all levels. The body is as usual, clean, lightly toasted pale malt. Neutral yeast. Amazing ability at hiding alcohol just like the entire double crush series. Carbonation is good. I dunno how much more I can say about these beers. They're great for showing off a single hop and great at making 8% super crushable in any weather. Sure they're $4 per can, but I can do that on repeat for this series of beers because they're all excellent top tier stuff.

Musty, plastic, latex taste that is throwing me off. Nice foam head that lingers, nice citrus hop head aroma that carries over to the palate, but I get a weird aftertaste that kills this beer for me. Enjoyable as it warms, but not their best.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
