From tasting notes 4/30/21
Had on-tap at Moonraker Brewing in Auburn, CA
Appearance - Served up in a nonic pint, hazy and dull yellow in color with small islands of suds and a thick ring around the edge of the glass. Lacing is decent, with some zigzag, patchy lacing and spotting.
Smell - Mellow tropical aroma, melon and a bit of yeast.
Taste - Follows the nose, plenty of mellow tropical notes and melon.
Mouthfeel - Light to Medium in body with fair carbonation. Drinks easy enough.
Overall - Solid hazy DIPA. Definitely one to try again.

I guess Zamboni Haze is now Zam Bone. Another entry gets another similar review.
Pours a cloudy and hazy yellow, 1/2" white head. Nice delicate tangerine like sweetness aroma, Citra hops no doubt. Pretty clean nose, not much competing with it.
Taste is one of the easiest going 8.5% beers around. Firm Simcoe bitterness is largely restrained in the mouth feel with the flaked wheat oat combo. To say this is good at hiding the alcohol is like saying a zamboni is good at smoothing over ice. Holy moly. I think the Simcoe and the flaked body are a great team. Sometimes I dock the mouth feel on these hazy ipas because it just comes off too wet, trubby and watery. Not here, Simcoe is a great counterbalance. Carbonation always spot on with Moonraker stuff. Good waves of orange and tangerine alternating bitter and sweet. You could drop a stone fruit reference if you wanted but it seems like tangerine like notes are the most pervasive. Really good stuff.

Picked up a 16 oz single from the Kings Beer & Wine cooler on 7-22-20 for $5.69. Canned 5-20-20; consumed 10-12-20. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured a hazy golden orange with a very nice long lasting head.
Nose has a nice bouquet of tropical fruit and some citrus.
Taste is a light but substantial pale malt base with a generous amount of orange and mango. Finishes a tad sweet, 3/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and very refreshing.
Overall a nice NEIPA that could stand to have more balancing hop addition to make this a truly outstanding beer.

Raul is gonna give this the “Triple D” (no, not that show about that frosty tipped yokel). This one is 3d cuz it’s Delightful, Decadent, and Divine! Believe that! You pour the damn sucker and you don’t need a nose as big as Karl Malden’s to know that you are getting yourself into something good. Hella tropical all over in your nostrils, then when this playa took a sip, they graced his taste buds like that McKayla Maroney chick while in full smirk.
I tell ya, folks, them peeps at Moonraker are dialed in like Tiger Woods on a porn star after a few Ambiens.
Yep!

Canned 3/15/19
L: Pours a murky honey yellow in color. Zero clarity, totally opaque. A standard pour yielded about a finger and a half of a stark white cap that dissipated rapidly. Generous amounts of lacing coats and clings to the glass and I partake.
S: Bubble gum, flaked oats, stonefruit, and orange. It is sweet, juicy, and inviting.
T: Tons of citrus character with a sweet bread flaked oats foundation. Orange, lemon, mango, pineapple and apricot seem to be the domineering forces behind the flavor profile. Very low bitterness with mild pine presence in the aftertaste. Green hop presence on the finish as well, balancing out the fruitiness.
F: Outstanding mouthfeel. Full bodied, medium weighted. Soft, creamy, pillowy and outright dreamy. Moonraker is putting in some work in terms of mouthfeel. This is fantastic. No abv detection.
O: Another stellar offering from Moonraker. The feel is enough to make me want to revisit. I am very grateful to have tried. Cheers!

Sweet tropical hoppy nose on this hazy. Taste follows with a creamy mouthfeel. This has a nice depth to it...I was expecting a little more complexity in the flavor profile Pineapple/tropical notes linger...
