I believe this was an April release (4:20) and consumed in the front yard while grilling in May of 2019.
Pours yellow, has a decent degree of clarity to it, 1/3" white head. The Mosaic doesn't lean as hard as it does in other Moonraker beers, thought this would have been the perfect beer marketing to have some Nelson or CTZ in it, but oh well. Some light tropical note out of it, disappointing for the lack of weed like smells I guess.
Taste seemed like it had one of the C hops dropping pine (Centennial or Chinook in my experience) but I'll presume that was the Apollo and Simcoe together giving a pine like aftertaste to the mouth feel of higher than expected bitterness. Just like every other dipa Moonraker makes, this did a great job making a significant amount of alcohol go down with ease.
Its a good beer, I just thought it would have more weed like qualities than some of its other beers that don't have the marketing name within.

Pours a clear yellow with soft fine foam.
Smell is dank and weedy with notes of apricots, citrus and pine.
Taste is dank and piney with notes of melon, citrus and peach juice. Nice, solid bitterness and no sign of booze.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a dangerously drinkable DIPA.

Canned 4/16/19. It's a warm day out, and a crisp, clear WCIPA sounds great.
L: Deep golden rod yellow with transparent complexion. A finger of head on the pour and no lacing, but just looks nice.
S: Very lemony on the nose with hints of bready malts. Not pungent on the nose but is an appeasing subtle smell.
T: The first thing I taste is the bready malt flavor, providing a nice foundation for the bountiful citrus flavor. Orange and lemon are strong initially and mid way with a bready/citrus flavor with mild dankness at the finish.
F: Low bitterness, no abv presence, and low to moderate carbonation giving a nice medium weight and body to the beer.
O: Super enjoyable and smooth sailing for 8.5 abv. Moonraker makes great IPAs all-around, and I am grateful to try this one. Plus, what an awesome can art. Cheers!

I was impressed by the great nose for a west coast double...tropical sweet dankness!!! This was very smooth and drinkable. The taste follows nose and it had a clean, crisp finish on the swallow.

Deep golden beer. Crystal clear with a finger of fluffy white head. It fades away and leaves only a speck or two lacing. The nose is full of what I smell when I smell mosaic beers. There is some sweet papaya, earthiness, and grassiness. Very sweet with some papaya, bubblegum, grapefruit pith and a nice piney, dank, bitterness at the end. Finishes with a hint of booziness.

Released on 4/20/18 as part of Mookraker's 2nd anniversary. Danky, resinous West Coast Imperial IPA featuring mosaic, simcoe and apollo hops. An absolutely fantastic example of the style - and another amazing beer from Moonraker!!
