This brew was canned 1/4/19. Super stoked to try this one, and I love the name. Let's dive in.
L: The beer pours out vibrant golden yellow in color. Settles somewhat dull yellow in color. Very nice color if I am judging based on my NEIPA color preference. It is evidently hazy but isn't a murk bomb. About a finger of a dense white cap that dissipated rapidly. Appealing amounts of lacing left on the edge of the glass.
S: Very fruit-forward. I get the traditional citrus, such as grapefruit and orange, but I am also getting an abundance of stone fruit, mainly nectarines and apricot. Notes of melon and passionfruit is also detectible. Hop presence is mild on the nose, but is presented lemongrassy. Moderate yeast presence.
T: Citrus bomb! Heavy flavors of grapefruit, orange, tangerine and lemon. However, the stonefruit hasn't bounced from the flavor train either, and particularly likes to linger in the aftertaste. Here's the thing, there is a nice WC vibe I get from the flavor. Moderate dank resin with a nice grassy hop profile. Biscuity malt flavor underlies the rest of the aforementioned flavors.
F: Medium in body but seemingly lighter in weight. Carbonation is perfectly done for the style. Really good feel, just not quite the best I've had from Moonraker.
O: Can't say much else other than it's great. Drinks really easy for 8.5 abv. The aromas and flavor are great, making this a beer that I would love to revisit. I am very grateful to have tried. Cheers!

Another great hazy DIPA from Moonraker Brewing. This has a great look and feel to it...smooth and almost creamy. The nose was good...and the taste followed it with a great finish ending with slight bitterness. I'm getting spoiled Moonraker! The place to be in the Sacramento area for Hazy IPAs!

From tasting notes 02/18/18
Had on-tap at Moonraker Brewing in Auburn, CA
A - Served in a nonic pint, hazy and light orange in color with a mostly barren surface. Lacing consists of broken webbing, lines and spotting.
Smell - Straight up juicy nose. Pineapple, papaya, orange and grapefruit with a bit of yeastiness.
Taste - First impression is loads of juicy tropical notes with a lightly bitter grapefruit edge. Orange, papaya, mango and pineapple. Faint melon hits mid-taste. Light, bready undertone. Finish lingers with hints of bitter grapefruit zest.
Mouthfeel - Near full in body with low, tingly carbination. Slick, easy drinker with a dry, slightly chalky but refreshing finish.
Overall - Really tasty hazy DIPA. The only negative is that there's nothing particularly unique about it. I will definitely be grabbing a 4-pack next time they can it.
