Can't decide if it's stonefruits or melon finished with a citrus note. Minimal malt with a yeastiness and a just right bitterness that isn't dank.

L: Color is bright yellow with a luscious hazy, milky appearance. A standard pour yielded about 2 fingers of head that dissipated rapidly. Moderate amounts of lacing on the glass.
S: Tons of stonefruit on the nose with a touch of booze. Other aromas of lemon, melon and grapefruit.
T: Really nice. As on the nose, very stonefruit-forward, primarily consisting of nectarine and apricot flavors. Grapefruit, tangerine, mango, pineapple and pomegranate are also prevalent. Finish is yeasty with a nice hop bite. Booze flavor also there, and most noticeable on the finish.
F: Medium in body, light in weight. Booze cuts through on the feel. It feels higher in abv than it really does. I have had TIPAs from Moonraker with a better feel. That said, it isn't terrible by any means.
O: An enjoyable brew. It brings the juicy complexity with the hop punch, not letting go of its IPA heritage. I am very glad to have tried. Cheers!

A Good nose with tropical, pineapple notes. It has great depth and body with a smooth finish. I was impressed by the great feel with this one...balanced with a bitter finish and slight citrus aftertaste.

Had this for the first time at the next to last baseball game. Per usual, its really good. Pours a yellow color with 1/3" white head. Aroma pops nicely, man you start to feel really entitled with Moonraker, just amazing stuff out there. The usual Citra hop notes provide like, citrus man. But its not one of those weak all grapefruit citruses, nope, Citra man, giving you some orange and pineapple.
Taste wise, looks like Enigma is the bittering hop, it plays nice and isn't a massive alpha acid overload. Nice dry pale toasted malt base, out of the way, just like the 8% abv, I tend to dislike double ipa more than its less alcoholic smaller versions (pale ale, ipa), but when Moonraker puts their stamp on things, its like the 8% threshold is no big deal. Light mango notes. This is another killer release from Moonraker. Light bodied but deep hop flavors hiding alcohol well.

Appearance - Pours hazy and murky golden yellow with a white, finger width head that dissipates in fair time, revealing a thin, broken layer of suds with a thin ring encircling the edge of the glass. Fair lacing, with small patches of broken webbing and spotting found randomly around the glass.
Smell - The aroma is promising; notes of cantaloupe, orange, mango, grapefruit and hints of pine.
Taste - Follows the nose. Mellow but super juicy notes of cantaloupe, orange, and mango with lesser notes of spice, pine and grapefruit touching by mid-taste and into the finish. Aftertaste rings with moderate spice bite, while the citrus, melon and tropical undertones play beneath.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair, bubbly carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a smooth, almost silky finish.
Overall - Tasty as hell, and one of Moonraker's better releases these past few months. Maybe closer to the 'bigger brother' of Sling Jaw than is Sling Jawzzz.
