On tap at Beer O'clock today.
The beer pours a hazy golden amber color with good head retention and lacing. The nose is pretty impressive, as there's a lot of sweet tropical fruit, dominated by peach, apricot and light pineapple. The sweetness struck me as a bit over the top, but even so, the nose is impressive. The flavor profile replicates the nose pretty closely, and sure enough, there's a boatload of sweet tropical fruit in this beer. Mouthfeel is fairly full , but a lack of bitterness in the finish mars this beer's drinkability a bit. The sweetness and high alcohol tend to stand out a bit, at least more than I wanted to see.
Shrug. This is a nice beer, but I didn't feel as if there was anything about it that really stood out. Just anorher hazy, sweet, tropical fruit bomb of a hazy IPA with no appreciable bitterness. Especially considering the price tag (6.50 for an 8 ounce glass at a beer bar renowned for its reasonable prices), kind of hard to imagine ever ordering another glass of this.

Can dated 08/08/18 into a tulip glass.
L: Pours murky orange bronze with 2+ fingers of variable density white head with great retention and left ringed lacing.
S: VERY floral (wondering if the honey is unpastuerized), with secondary tropical fruit (tangerine, mango, pineapple), quite enjoyable.
T: Follows the nose to a large degree, but inverts the prominence of the nose. Some cantaloupe attributes show once it warms. Finishes with mild bitterness and medium-high astringency, astringency lingers.
F: Medium bodied with higher carbonation, tongue tingles from carbonation, astringency and ABV, silky on the swallow.
O: A nice floral collab DIPA that includes local honey. This one isn't for your typical hazebro as the mouthfeel is a bit off, but I really liked it, and rate it similarly to the Pure Project/Alvarado Street collab (https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/35259/283518/) that used honey...though the beers are very different.
