Appearance - Pours hazy and straw yellow in color with a white, half finger width head. Good retention, resulting in a thin, consistent layer of suds on the surface, thickening up to a noticeable ring around the edge of the glass.
Smell - Melon, hint of pineapple and a distinct bready malt sweetness.
Taste - Light, fruity flavors of melon, papaya and lesser citrus that develops mid-taste and peaks in the finish, backed by a healthy amount of generic 'white bread' sweetness from the malts. Aftertaste lingers with faint pith and mild pineapple acidity.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker before a dry, slightly chalky finish.
Overall - Good brew. Drinkable. Nothing wrong with it, but it falls short of their better offerings.
