Nice west coast style IPA. Cloudy with mild head and lacing. Smell is tropical fruit, orange juice, and pineapple, with a mildly danky resinous background. Plenty of juicy citrus on the taste, but a strong bitter hop character accompaniment. Medium to big bodied, clean mouth watering finish, boozy. I had a beer from these guys year ago and wanted to try them again when I saw them on Tavour. Glad I did.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy, pale straw color, thin head recedes to ring around glass. Tropical fruit aroma, musty, zesty, menthol. Taste is pineapple, other tropical fruit, light banana. Kind of sharp, tangy. Quite a sting on the palate.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberries and lime are present in the nose. As the beer begins to warm up, orange citrus becomes perceptible.
T: The taste has flavors of gooseberry and lime citrus along with hints of pear and stone fruit. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little crisp and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found this IPA to be interesting as it starts off with lots of Citra hops but transitions over to Mosaic was the beer begins to warm up.

Nice hazy deep golden with a decent sized white head. Sweet citrus prominent nose is just about fantastic. Decent tropical flavor with some sweetness and a gentle grapefruit pith biting finish. Creamy feel, this is quite good here.

Canned 4/19/19, consumed in May 2019.

Pours a slight orange juice like appearance, more like a bit of yellow than straight pure orange to it. Looks more like a screwdriver with a beer head 1/3" deep. Big aromatics from Mosaic and Citra here, bringing the usual hefty dose of tropical and sweet citrus notes from the hops. El Dorado provides a light splash of something more agrarian in terms of hay and sunlight.

Taste is good, this is a double version of Dr. Chill, a good beer, and this imperialized version, which comes off pretty nice and not "big" might be even better. As usual, the alcohol is completely absorbed in the mouth feel without any negatives from it. Bitterness seems provided further by El Dorado, nice papaya, tangerine and pineapple notes going on taste wise. Its a legit 50 ibu, not more or less sensation wise.

Sometimes its downright scary how these Moonraker dipas drink easier than some breweries pale ales. Nothing unique here, but something very good done a million times over.

Canned 4/19/19.
L: Hazy straw yellow. About a finger of head from the pour, very minimal lacing.
S: Pineapple, mango, citrus and tropical fruits. Smells sweet and fruity- very appetizing.
T: Tropical fruit and citrus forward, being extremely juicy in taste. Mild grass presence at the finish with lingering flavors of pineapple and grapefruit.
F: Light in body and in weight. Smooth and easy to drink, abv well hidden.
O: An enjoyable offering and one I am finally glad to try. It is a tasty beverage and one I'd gladly revisit. I am very glad to try. Cheers!

Canned 1/3/19, consumed 1/30/19

Poured hazy & lightly cloudy light orange/dirty straw color with a very small head that quickly dissipated, very low rentention, and just a tiny bit of lacing.

Bright, juicy aroma of all kinds of tropical and melon fruits.

Taste follows, full-flavored, lives up to the aroma, just a delicious fruit blend.

Feel is medium, body of a regular IPA vs a double. Very smooth & good creaminess, good carbonation, low bitterness.

Overall, great double hazy that can roll with the better ones out here. One of Moonraker's best.
