From tasting notes 01/29/19
Had on tap at Fire Wings in Fair Oaks, CA
Appearance - Served up in a standard pint, hazy and straw yellow in color with a thin, broken layer of suds and a thin ring around the edge of the glass. Fair lacing, with broken webbing and some spotting making up the bulk of it.
SmellĀ - Not much on the nose. Very light fruitiness, citrus and lesser tropical, with an equally malty sweetness.
Taste - More disappointing than the nose. Maybe more malty than hoppy, with light cereal and maybe oat character overshadowing a weak fruity citrus with a hint of watered down pineapple. Finishes much the same, with a faint acidic buzz in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Light-in-body with light, spritzy carbonation. Goes down easy enough before a mostly watery finish.
Overall - Wow Moonraker, big swing and miss here. Drinks more akin to a hoppy blonde, not a pale by any standard. The fact this shares its name with their flagship adds insult to injury. I will do my best to forget this was ever brewed.

Great nose, the passionfruit shines from the galaxy, limited bitterness but plenty of acidity, a little thin like most session beers, I'd definitely get it again.
