Features South African hops, which is new to me. Served on tap in an imperial pint glass at local spot.
L: Light lemon yellow color. Looks watery and light. Unfiltered in appearance but is not hazy by todays standards.
S: Mild but pleasant. lemon, grapefruit, grassy hop complex. Simple and appealing.
T: Wtf. Really strange. I get the citrus flavor, but there is an earthy/leathery/tobacco flavor that is nothing like I've tasted before. Finish is lemony with leathery aftertaste with minimal pine.
F: Light in body and weight. Carbonation is moderate to high. Refreshing feel, but lacking compared to other moonraker "crush" offerings, especially their APAs.
O: Isn't the best from Moonraker. Could be my least favorite.
