DDH NE Pale Ale
On this pale we used a different expressive yeast to accentuate the apricot, peach ester profile it provides. We used cashmere whole hops in the mash for a sticky mouthfeel and dry hopped earlier in fermentation than we normally do to pull out more melon from the Citra hops. We then dry hopped again with our hand selected Citra hops from Yakima and Loral cryo which makes this beer burst out of the seams with flavors of mango and oh so fresh lemon zest.

Drank this in September 2019, my pic shows it next to the tunnel spot on the river.
Pours a chicken gravy light like appearance and consistency. Similar to Gummy Worms down the street at New Glory. 1/2" white head. The aroma is definitely one of the more green vegetal citrus grove bloom Citra and Zeus like aromas from Moonraker.
Taste does impart the chewy alternamalt world, this is a hazy pale ale essentially. Has a bittering hop like Cashmere I believe. Its easy enough to drink and good quality. Nothing to really separate it from the million other hoppy beers in the area really other than its thick chewy base in the hazy world. Brings hop flavors of lemon, peach, apricot and orange. Totally lacks a dry finish, this goes into that trubby moving towards a watered down lightly breaded finish.
I love the commercial tug job about sustainability as if the law of conservation doesn't exist. Marketing. That's cool, I pick trash up everywhere I go. Zero guilt.

Canned 05/01/19
Appearance - Pours hazy and pale orange in color with an off-white, half-finger width head.
Smell - Mild aroma, but picking up some lemon and some tropical notes.
Taste - Definitely some mild stonefruit and mango notes in there, along with a 'fruit loops' like lemony zest. Mild bready undertone. Finishes with aforementioned fruitiness as the lemony notes turn a bit pithy.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fair carbonation. Drinks smooth, but thins out quickly in the finish.
Overall - Mild, but damn if what's there isn't a unique twist and tasty as hell. Body could use some work, but this is a really nice hazy pale.

Can dated 01/25/19 into a tulip glass.
L: Murky white orange with not quite one finger of medium density white head with limited retention and left limited lacing.
S: Nose is pleasant, apricot, tangerine, with floral undertones and hints of pine once its warmed.
T: Follows the nose quite well, and a bit more dynamic. Finishes with mild bitterness, some acidity, and hints of astringency. Acidity lingers on the palate a bit.
F: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, tongue tingles from acidity and carbonation, full on the tongue, slick on the swallow.
O: A nice hazy APA, I'll gladly repeat but not seek out. Not quite sure of the sustainability aspects of the process for making this beer. If they're substantial improvements then I'd happily repeatedly purchase. At 6%, it's a debatable pale ale designation.
