Canned 4/30/19.
L: Hazy straw yellow in appearance with zero clarity. 2 fingers of head on the pour with nice amounts of lacing.
S: Lactose-forward with hints of pineapple and citrus. Smells rather nice.
T: Interesting. My first taste, I did not like it one bit. The more I have, the more accustomed I come to it. Tons of lactose sweetness with a nice vanilla after taste. PIneapple is noted at the finish but not as pronounced as I would like. Very sweet, perhaps the most sweet milkshake IPA I've had yet.
F: Medium in body, light in weight. Low to moderate carbonation.
O: An enjoyable beer and I am glad to try, but I do not feel the need to revisit. Cheers!

Appearance - Pours hazy and pale golden yellow with a white, half finger width head.
Smell - Lots of vanilla on the nose. Lesser milkiness. Pineapple takes a backseat, but is still noticeable.
Taste - Follows the nose. First that hits me is the milky vanilla sweetness. Very milkshake-like. Pineapple peeks through shortly after and adds a good bit of tropical fruitiness, but never becomes the prominent note here. Finishes much the same. Simple, but damn good.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slightly creamy texture makes this a smooth, easy drinker.
Overall - Wow, that is straight up vanilla milkshake with a nice touch of pineapple. Nicely done, Moonraker.

Pours with deep yellow to light orange murky body. A semi-aggressive pour generates a nice white cap, but it dissipates quite quickly. Practically zero lacing is left on the glass. The pineapple is strong on the nose. To me, the aroma could even pass for a hoppy sour ale. The taste is ok (and good if milkshake IPAs are your thing). Some lactose does come through, but the pineapple dominates it. Hops are discernible too, but I wish there was more. Great overall feel with a soft creamy finish, just the right amount of carbonation, and not a hint of ABV.
