Delicious hoppy, slightly yeasty smell. Impresses on the first sip. Opaque, golden orange/yellow. Good not-too-strong citrus flavor (mostly grapefruit) from the hops, and a great medium bitterness. Very drinkable and refreshing.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewing Co pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Ripe tropical fruit, citrus, a little strawberry, hint of melon, faint spicy herbal notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Lots of tropical fruit, pineapple, passion fruit, apricot, peach, and mango, some citrus, tangerine and lemon lime, strong hints of strawberry, faint melon, subtle spicy herbal notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Just a touch on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: Another winner in the Crush series. Great job of showing off all the cool stuff Strata hops bring to the table.

Canned 5/28/19. I have thoroughly enjoyed what I’ve yet to try from the Crush series, and considering this one is with Strata, I’m very interested. Let’s dive in.
L: pours a hazy straw yellow in color and appearance. Little head formation from a standard pour with lower end of moderate amounts of residual lacing.
S: really nice and juice-forward. Mango, pineapple, bubble gum, peach, nectarine and citrus all present in the smell. Hints of lemongrass and mild notes of pine.
T: also great. Grapefruit, orange, melon and lemon and strong played played at the beginning with mango, honey and pineapple at the finish. The more I drink it, the more I’m enjoying it. Hop presence is noted at the finish with slight undertones of yeast.
F: light in weight and light to medium in body for a beer of this stature. Carbonation is at the perfect moderate, allowing a slight fizzle on the tongue.
O: another great offering to add to the Moonraker roster. Strata is something i haven’t had much of, but I’m liking this. I would drink again/recommend. I am very glad to try. Cheers!
