1st review of this beer on BA. Gonna write a review because I'm not a total sociopath who adds beers but doesn't review them.
Anyways, pours a lightly cloudy yellowish bronze color but without the viscosity of a hazy flaked beer/ipa. 1/2" white head. Good lager yeast and grain in the nose. Really checks all the helles boxes here.
Taste continues its good ways with that same pungency of a lightly sulfuric yeast and bready grain bill. Amber waves bruh. A carbonation level that makes for a good mouth feel all around. When you can marry both the crispness you want in a lager but the breadiness of a helles, you done a good job, it really do be like that.
Twas a great drink in the summer of 2020, towards the back end, but I saved one and had it almost a year later during softball season and you know what? It was still damn good and lost virtually nothing compared to the one I had on the date of purchase within days of being canned initially. Its a nice change of pace from a brewery that kills it on the hoppy side too.
