Consumed November 2019. Writing here on the precipice of Memorial Day 2021, this is somehow the 1st review of the beer on BA.
Pours that yellow broth leaning into gravy appearance, 1/3" white head. The aroma is quite nice, Mosaic and Cashmere "crush" the nose with waves of hoppy blueberry, guava, tangerine, lemon, lime, melon and passion fruit. Quite the medley going on, these are two of the most aromatic hop bangers in the game.
Taste is yet another very good pale ale from Moonraker. Silky hop and body notes (thank you Cashmere, Wheat and Oats?) keep this true to its titular namesake, as its just a crushable pale ale with waves of the aforementioned hops. Whether you want to call it an IPA or a pale ale makes no difference to me. Melon, orange, blueberry, red blackberry, this keeps pushing all kinds of fruity notes.
Moonraker struggles to make even average hoppy beers, they always seem to be top tier stuff and this one was no different.
