Consumed August 2019, one of the last days around the pool.

Pours yellow. I believe this is aimed as a west coast ipa, but the clarity isn't all that, I wouldn't say it straddles between ipa subgenres, but it does lean away. 1/3" white head. The aroma hits the pine note hard. A light stone fruit and citrus beyond just bitter rind aroma exists.

Taste is a firm Simcoe bitterness that is supported by more sweet fruity notes of tangerine and passion fruit. It still hits that pine and grapefruit rind bitterness, but it isn't a one trick pony. It finds something from every variety of hops used and incorporates them nicely to be better in summation like Voltron. Very light malt body fits right in, nice and light relative to the hoppy flavors. In that way, this is very much a west coast ipa despite the appearance not being full on.

As usual, its a pretty good hoppy beer from Moonraker. For those who still want a bitter shot with their hop flavors, this scratches that itch.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewing Co pint glass

A: Pours golden yellow with a frothy eggshell white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.

S: Bright tropical and stone fruit, citrus, a little spicy pine, crackery biscuity malt, and light caramel sweetness.

T: Soft tropical and stone fruit, mango, peach, apricot, and passion fruit, citrus, lemon lime and tangerine, some spicy pine, crackery biscuity malt, and a light caramel sweetness.

M: Just a touch on the lighter side of medium body, moderate carbonation.

O: The more I drink this one the more I like it. Light and refreshing, it's got a juicy side and a nice bitter compliment to balance it. Really nice beer.
