The best label ever from Moonraker? Probably!
From a pint can (about 3 weeks out).
L: I'd call it maybe a tad on the lighter side of golden and perfectly clear. Minimal head/lacing.
S: A good helping of candied orange and stone fruit, a little green resin, an ever-so-slight hint of bubble gum. Not overly complex, but very nice.
T: Very clean and balanced. Taste follows the nose. Bitterness is firm, but not obtrusive. A very well made WC IPA.
F: Dryer; but that's good for a WC IPA. Not a fan of IPA's that don't finish out or finish high (FG). This one I have no complaints here.
O: I'm spoiled because I can buy fresh Moonraker at the corner store anytime I want (or whenever they deliver). Popped in today and found this. Honestly, I thought this was going to be an NEIPA but decided to roll the dice because of Burt, Danny, and a Trans-Am on the can. There will probably be a Knee Deep-type lawsuit on this, but for now, let's just enjoy it. It's probably the most rad label I've ever seen on a pint can. The beer is pretty solid as well.
Final Thoughts: If you're a strict NEIPA fanboy (or girl) this is probably not your jam. Old school WC IPA lover? Might be a bit too fruity for you. Honestly, this is a solid beer. It won't blow your mind (or change it), but if you have a problem enjoying it (you have bigger problems). Reminds me of an amped-up take on a recent FW Luponic Distortion.
