Damn had this over 2 years ago (Sep 2018) and here I am adding it to the database at the end of 2020. Cmon beer nerds, step off your urban cliches and get this stuff up in the system. Anyways, 40 ibu.
Anyhoo, pours a golden color just like you see in most beers. Good clarity, about 2/5" white head. Impressive yeast pushing big weight, about the only Moonraker beer where the yeast pushes harder aroma wise than the hops. Its dry and sulphurish with being 'smelly'.
Taste is pretty damn good and with a refreshing mouthfeel. While its hoppier than your standard pilsner, it is still pretty close, and the hops used seem to make sense, that noble/saaz feel throughout it. Light breadiness of the pilsner malt despite being very clean. High carbonation entirely appropriate for this beer. These were fun to drink in the summer. I would definitely be up for another 4 pack. The yeast was plenty yummy, almost wondering if its Urquell or maybe WL800. A nice changeup from Moonraker.
