Appearance - Pours black with a tan, half finger's width head and displays sub-par retention before dying down to a mostly barren surface and a thin ring around the edge of the glass.
Smell - A bit of roast and chocolate on the nose. Subtle peanut butter.
Taste - Follows the nose. Mild roasted malt and chocolate upfront and throughout. Underlying peanut flavor that's fairly consistent, but stays third banana to the mild roast and chocolatey notes, even as it emerges more as the brew warms.
Mouthfeel - Near full-bodied with low carbonation. Smooth and lightly creamy, with a touch of stickiness in the finish.
Overall - Good stout, but the peanut butter is not a prominent as it should be.

Too sweet for my preferences, and I perceived little to no peanut butter. Hides the 8% well, but this one doesn't do it for me personally. I can see a lot of people find the sweetness appealing, but the lack of peanut butter is disappointing.
